Cookie Policy

This Policy explains how Infinite Worlds Lab and its providers use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies in connection with the Store, Shopify services and enabled applications.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies. Cookies are small data files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, software development kits and identifiers that recognise a device, remember settings or measure interactions.

First and third party. Some technologies are set by the Store; others are set by providers such as Shopify, payment, security, analytics, advertising, media or consent-management services.

2. Strictly necessary technologies

Purpose. Necessary technologies support security, load balancing, network operation, consent records, fraud prevention, checkout, payment authentication, cart, account login, session continuity and requested digital delivery.

Control. These technologies are required to provide a service you request or keep the Store secure and generally cannot be disabled through the Store's consent controls. Blocking them in a browser may prevent cart, checkout, payment or account functions.

3. Preference technologies

Purpose. Preference technologies remember choices such as region, language, display, consent and selected settings.

Consent. Where applicable law treats a preference technology as non-essential, it is activated only after the required consent.

4. Analytics technologies

Purpose. Analytics technologies help measure visits, traffic source, navigation, performance, errors, conversions and aggregate use so we can improve the Store and Products.

Configuration. We seek to minimise data, use available privacy controls and activate non-essential analytics only after required consent. Provider processing and retention are also governed by provider terms.

5. Advertising and social technologies

Purpose. If enabled, advertising and social technologies measure campaigns, limit repetition, build audiences, attribute sales and personalise advertising across services.

Consent and opt-out. These technologies are not required for checkout and are activated only with the consent or other legal basis required in the visitor's jurisdiction. Withdrawing consent stops future non-essential use but does not erase provider data already lawfully processed.

6. Shopify, payments and embedded content

Shopify. Shopify may use technologies needed to operate storefront, checkout, Shop Pay, customer accounts, fraud prevention, preferences and analytics. Shopify publishes information about its own technologies and processing.

Payments. Payment providers may use cookies and device signals for authentication, fraud prevention, security and payment processing.

Embeds. Video, audio, social or other embedded third-party content may set technologies when loaded or interacted with. Where required, such content should remain blocked until consent.

7. Duration

Session and persistent. Session cookies expire when the browser session ends. Persistent technologies remain for a defined period or until deleted. Duration depends on function, provider configuration and consent settings.

Live inventory. The production Store's consent manager or cookie preference centre should display the current technology name, provider, purpose, category and duration. That live inventory controls over generic examples in this Policy.

8. Your choices

Consent controls. Use the Store's cookie settings to accept, reject or change non-essential categories where available. Necessary technologies remain active.

Browser controls. You can delete or block technologies in browser or device settings. Doing so may reset preferences and impair Store functions.

Provider controls. Some analytics, advertising, browser and device providers offer independent privacy or opt-out controls. Their effectiveness and scope are controlled by those providers.

9. Global privacy signals

Signals. Where required by applicable law and supported by the Store configuration, we honour recognised browser-based opt-out preference signals for the browser or device sending the signal.

10. Changes and contact

Changes. We may update this Policy when technologies, apps, providers or legal requirements change. The version displayed in the Store states the current terms governing these technologies.
